Crystal grew up in rural Nebraska and graduated in 1997 from the University of Nebraska Medical Center with her BSN. She worked as a Labor and Delivery nurse until she completed her master’s degree. She completed her Certified Nurse Midwifery at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver in 2004. She then practiced in Oklahoma at a community health center prior to moving to Kansas City in 2006. Crystal loves delivering babies and helping women. She does testing for urinary incontinence and interstitial cystitis, as well as assisting women with weight loss.

Crystal has been married for fourteen years and has an amazing son. In her free time she enjoys listening to K-love, spending time with her family and friends, reading, crocheting, scrap booking, playing the piano and bargain hunting. She recently completed a triathlon and continues to train for another. She loves doing mission work. She is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives, Kansas Midwives, Sigma Theta Tau and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
